Do You Want Tax Reform? Tell Your Congressman with Our 1040 Birthday Card
If you think the tax code needs to be simplified, you’re in the right place. Think about it: we’re CPAs and we want it changed—you KNOW it must be bad!So here’s a fun way for you to express your opinion: send your favorite congressman our 1040 birthday card, and add your own note of why you think the tax code should be changed.As you know from our home page, 2013 is the 100th birthday of the Income Tax, and in fact, the form 1040 celebrated its 100th year Oct. 3.
